This is a new method used to treat venous insufficiency. This method is combined with two elements: mechanical and chemical.
The first stage is mechanical damage to the inner side of the endothelial vessel through the application of FLEBOGRIF® system and then applying the sclerosing agent in the form of a foam to the light of a vessel. The treatment is carried out under the control of ultrasound scanner (ultrasound). It is performed under local anaesthesia. The anaesthesia is required only while placing the drain. The further part of the surgery is painless.
This is the method of low invasiveness created this way that the patient is able to return to his everyday duties and carry on his professional life as soon as possible.
The procedure itself takes approximately an hour, requires no special preparation or hospitalisation. After the surgery, compression therapy has to be carried out. In terms of effectiveness, this method can be compared to EVLT or compression therapy.
In the majority of patients, the expected effect occurs after approximately 1 month but sometimes the full result may be observed 6 to 12 months after the procedure.
